Two of the most successful riders in the Women's peloton, Anna van der Breggen and Chantal van den Broek-Blaak are set to retire after the 2021 season for the former and after the 2022 spring campaign for the latter. Their palmares are the envy of the peloton, here are some of the major wins:

Chris Froome has asked for a sole leadership role at the Tour de France or he will look for a mid-season transfer. He's rumoured to have been contacted by a couple of World Tour teams who are willing to negotiate a contract with the British rider, who's chasing a fifth Tour de France's win.


CCC, title sponsors of the homonymous World Tour team, will exit pro cycling. The team, who will last until the end of the year thanks to an agreement with its employees to cut wages by 50%, is now in the search for new money for 2021 at a time where most companies have been hit hard by the Coronavirus pandemic and its economic backlash.


Women's World Tour team Bigla-Katusha is in financial straits and is unlikely to survive the season. Both their sponsors have not been paying the team and their managers have had to access the emergency funds set aside with the UCI. They will start a crowdfunding campaign and CeramisSpeeds are donating €15 to the team from each sale for a limited time.
